For high-accuracy projects, it’s essential to establish permanent monuments or control points to ensure that all areas are linked together, and there is no movement, rotation, or expansion.
At Zareen 3D Surveys, our standard method is to use a concrete block with a steel pin or brass plate based on our client’s requirements. Our control network is designed to be close with a 3mm accuracy. If the error exceeds 10mm, it will be distributed among all control points.
We use several essential software programs to calculate traverse, including SURPAC, ESURVEY, and LSS. These software programs can work with both local and international coordinate systems. On our client’s request, we can keep running the base for up to 24 hours to get the base point coordinated, ensuring no room for error. However, the local coordinate system does not require this procedure.
We use the Digital Level Leica DNS to achieve high accuracy within 3mm and repeat the process 3 times if needed. The Leica
TS records the horizontal-vertical angle and distance, and we repeat the process 6-8 times per face(Left & Right) to ensure
100% accuracy, with no chance of errors.
